Top 10 Greatest DC Supervillains

The supervillains which I'm gonna mention today are the very best of the super bad. Welcome to my blog and today I'm counting down my picks for the greatest DC Supervillains:

10. Manchaster black

Comics have never found themselves lacking evildoers with mind control powers, but rarely do they find their way into Superman’s inner circle and wreak havoc with the Man of Steel's life. Manchester Black did appear in the New 52 Teen Titans, but the version that has popped up in the current Superman arc is far scarier and more impressive.

9. Doomsday

Arriving in 1992, this bizarre genetic experiment started on Crypton just like superman. But instead of having powers granted to him by the Earth's yellow sun, he is the peak of genetic perfection who is able to adapt to any challenges and revive himself.

A rampaging mindless monstrosity who is pure rage and destruction and is so formidable that he was actually able to kill superman. But we know that superman's death doesn't last long

8. Brainiac

Arriving in 1958 in action comics number 242, he's undergone many alterations. For brainiac, the entire universe is a laboratory. The more he learns, the more powerful and dangerous he becomes. Superman keeps him from bay but brainiac is just one upgrade away from galactic domination.

7. General Zod

On the planet Crypton, Zod became a little power hungry and tried to take over the world. Years later he came to earth to repeat the same performance. Superman keeps stopping him, but since he's every bit stronger than the man of steel, it's very difficult to stop him.

6. Thaal Sinestro

Sinestro used to be a Green Lantern. But everyone doesn't look good in green. He was introduced in 1961's Green lantern volume 2 number 7. The yellow ring he wears is based on fear. Unfortunately for him the Green Lanterns keep kicking back.

5. Ra's al Ghul

He's name means the head of the demon. He's batmans one of the most deadliest and cunning enemies and the head of an underground network of assassins. He's centuries old thanks to the lazarus pit. He takes environmentalism too serious and wants to destroy the world. 

4. Mister Oz

Mister Oz is easily the most mysterious miscreant floating around the DC Universe these days. The heroes and fans might not know much about him, but Mister Oz has had farspread influence in this new world. Oz has been playing with Superman and his family for years, he turned the OP Mr. Mxyzptlk into a fake Clark Kent, and he even has Tim Drake trapped in a weird prison with no desire to free him.

3. Darkseid

Darkseid is the rulerof the hellish world apocalypse and has been causing trouble since 1970. He wants nothing more than to control all living creatures in the universe, which is why he wants the mysterious anti-life equation. Superman, the new Gods and all the DC's characters have battled him but how can you destroy pure hatred.

2. Lex Luthor


Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor is a fictional supervillain appearing in publications by the publisher DC Comics. The character was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Lex Luthor first appeared in Action Comics #23 and has since endured as the archenemy of Superman.

Luthor and Man of steel have been in a never ending war since his debut in 1940. The villain's evil brain power is the polar opposite to superman's heroic strength. With Luthor's endless resources there's always a new battle to be fought

1.The Joker

The Joker is undoubtedly the greatest villian in DC. Though the Joker has fought many superheroes from DC universe, namely the Superman and the Wonder woman; his last stand was always facing the dark vigilante who looks over the Gotham city; the Batman. The joker just cannot fathom the idea of Batman’s morality and has become obsessed to make Batman see the error of his ways.

The only reason he tops my list is because of his madness. He doesn't need a plan to succeed. He's unpredictable, he can corrupt anyone's mind. He has even corrupted superman's mind which made him evil too.

May 9 is Goku day in Japan Pretty much every day has now become a holiday to someone, so this fact might not be quite as remarkable as it might have been before the calendar year became littered with the likes of national bikini day and national talk like a pirate day.
