15 things you never knew about Goku

15. May 9 is Goku day in Japan Pretty much every day has now become a holiday to someone, so this fact might not be quite as remarkable as it might have been before the calendar year became littered with the likes of national bikini day and national talk like a pirate day. But at least we can say Goku is more deserving of his own day than just some random excuse to get people tweeting behind a weird hashtag on Twitter like so many of these other days seem to be. The character does star in one of the most popular anime ever made, after all. Just like May 4 became synonymous with Star Wars due to some word play (“may the force be with you”), May 9 became Goku day for a similar reason. Apparently in Japan, the numbers 5 and 9 can be pronounced as the sounds “go” and “ku.” So May is the fifth month of the year, and on the ninth day of that fifth month you get “goku”.      14. Goku was inspired by the Monkey king from journey to the West This is one tha...

15 People who have defeated Superman

Image
Superman is one of the toughest superheroes ever, but that doesn't mean the Last Son of Krypton has never suffered a beat down. He has super strength, super speed, X-ray vision, shoots lasers from his eyes and blows air cold enough to freeze and shatter steel -- all abilities granted to him simply by being beneath Earth's yellow sun. But even with all of his much-vaunted powers, the Man of Steel has been defeated more than once by various comic book characters. Notice how I didn't just say "villains" up there? That's because Superman has battled foes and friends alike, and from such a large pool, there are bound to be folks who can match Supes' super-ness. He's gone up against monsters, devils, gods and fellow heroes, and while he has often given as good as he's gotten, there are a few times when even the best has been bested. With that in mind, here's a run down of 15 characters who have made Superman look decidedly not-so-super. 15. T...

Marvel theory | why doctor strange didn't kill Thanos using the time stone

Image
Only 25 days are left for the most awaited maovie of 2019- Avengers: Endgame and we can't wait for it. Its been almost 1 year after Avengers: Infinity War and still we are thinking why Doctor strange didn't use the time stone against Thanos. Today I'm gonna tell why he didn't use the time stone against Thanos: We know that Doctor stange saw the future 14  million times and he saw only one chance of winning. So maybe he saw a more powerful threat then Thanos who would arise in the future. A threat which would need Thanos. Maybe the Avengers would team up with Thanos to fight this threat. Or what if the threat is already with the Avengers. Do you know who I may be talking about???..... It's the the big green monster Hulk. We know that Thanos has defeated the hulk once and we haven't seen the big guy since then. So it's obviously hinting that there's something big coming for the big green monster. Maybe Black Widow would die which would tri...

Happy Birthday Batman | 7 Facts you Didn't know about The Batman

Image
Our all time favorite Batman turns 80 today. Batman, the Caped Crusader needs no introduction! He has been everyone’s childhood hero and still continues to save the world. So if you are a fan (read on if even if you are not), check out these 7 cool facts about Batman that you should know! 1. Batman was created to cash on the success of Superman After the staggering success of Superman DC Comics sensed the demand for more superheroes and this led to the creation of The Batman. Inspired by seeing Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketch of an ornithopter flying device as a child, Bob Kane gave the superhero a bat-wing-like cape. Bill Finger devised the name Bruce Wayne for the character’s secret identity. The first name came from Robert the Bruce, who led Scotland’s War for Independence; while the surname is taken from American Revolutionary War hero, ‘Mad’ Anthony Wayne. 2. Batman beat Darseid twice The end boss of DC Universe, Darkseid is an evil god who can give even superman a t...

Top 10 Greatest DC Supervillains

Image
The supervillains which I'm gonna mention today are the very best of the super bad. Welcome to my blog and today I'm counting down my picks for the greatest DC Supervillains: 10. Manchaster black Comics have never found themselves lacking evildoers with mind control powers, but rarely do they find their way into Superman’s inner circle and wreak havoc with the Man of Steel's life. Manchester Black did appear in the New 52 Teen Titans, but the version that has popped up in the current Superman arc is far scarier and more impressive. 9. Doomsday Arriving in 1992, this bizarre genetic experiment started on Crypton just like superman. But instead of having powers granted to him by the Earth's yellow sun, he is the peak of genetic perfection who is able to adapt to any challenges and revive himself. A rampaging mindless monstrosity who is pure rage and destruction and is so formidable that he was actually able to kill superman. But we know that su...
